    South End sits a few miles up the road, with The Olde Mecklenburg biergarten, Triple C and Suffolk Punch for slow afternoons and Pins Mechanical for the nights that run long. Closer in, the grocery run can mean ALDI and Publix or Anh Dao Sakura and Charlotte Market International, depending on what you're cooking. Clanton Park and the Irwin Creek Greenway are good for a morning walk, the light rail picks up at Woodlawn Station for the ride into Uptown, and the airport is under three miles west.
